    Recently, SGS, a leading international inspection and certification organization, conducted a comprehensive on-site ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) audit of Guangxi Guikang New Materials Co., Ltd., commissioned by Baosteel Co., Ltd. The audit covered four key dimensions: social responsibility, health and safety, environmental protection, and corporate governance, with Baosteel representatives participating throughout the process.

    During the audit, the SGS team not only reviewed relevant documentation in detail but also conducted in-depth on-site inspections across production lines and assessed practices through methods such as random employee interviews. The successful completion of this audit marks Guangxi Guikang as the first ferroalloy company to participate in and pass Baosteel’s ESG audit.

    Guangxi Guikang will use this audit as an opportunity to further consolidate strengths, address areas for improvement, and continuously optimize its ESG management system. This achievement demonstrates our proactive response to Baosteel’s supplier ESG initiatives and highlights downstream clients’ recognition of our sustainable development capabilities.


    This collaboration represents a key step in implementing our group’s sustainability strategy. We are confident that, under the leadership of industry leaders like Baosteel, Guangxi Guikang will advance ESG practices across the ferroalloy sector, contributing to a greener, low-carbon transformation of the steel industry and society as a whole.
